Sheppard Robson’s civic-minded design approach has turned 245 Hammersmith Road into something more than just another office building; a collaborative workplace and a neighbourhood destination. The Interior of the ground by ID:SR has been designed to connect and inspire the people who use it, It acts as an extension to the public piazza, welcoming people into the retail and reception areas while the upstairs mezzanine provides more intimate settings where people can work or come together and catch up.

We worked closely with ID:SR assisting with the initial concepts and budgets, providing support in refining and finalising the specification. The various spaces called for a selection of furniture and lighting, including a bespoke table by Benchmark for the marketing suite that was later integrated with additional sections into the main scheme. We called into play our close working relationships with manufacturers and factories to source special items, arrange samples and organise showroom visits for ID:SR and the client team. We were also able to maximise the client’s budget by negotiating for pricing to be held despite the project’s long lead time.
